“I started this company to create a firm where people and purpose come first.”
Michael, a digital-native Millennial, brings a unique perspective on driving change shaped by his upbringing in Cumberland and education at Mount Saint Charles and Vassar College. During his studies, he developed a passion for data, Psychology, and Cognitive Science, sparking his interest in leveraging these tools for positive societal impact. This passion led him to a role as a government relations associate advocating for people with disabilities, where he saw firsthand the power of individual influence on public policy.
Michael’s innovative use of data and compelling communication strategies has driven numerous advocacy victories, including securing wage increases for frontline workers, pioneering automatic voter registration, and safeguarding net neutrality. His campaigns are known for blending data-driven insights with creative storytelling, effectively mobilizing public support and influencing policy decisions.
In 2014, Michael founded Reach Consulting (formerly Systems Change Strategies), turning his vision for transformative public advocacy into a thriving consultancy. Under his leadership, Reach Consulting has become a leader in public advocacy, community engagement, marketing, and communications, driven by a culture that values collaboration and inclusive decision-making. Michael believes that impactful work is about creating real, lasting change—a principle that guides every project and partnership at Reach Consulting.
